Trophy Guide

All 47 trophies, the 19 missables, the Duelist difficulty run, ending clean-up via save reload, and the level 50 grind.

The platinum for The Blood of Dawnwalker is a single-playthrough job — provided you play it smart. One run on Duelist difficulty carries the hardest trophy, a manual save before the final quest covers all four endings, and everything else sweeps up afterward with the clock no longer running. This page lists all 47 trophies and the order to chase them in.

Two house rules make the whole list "unmissable" in practice. First, save in a fresh manual slot every in-game day — 54 slots turn your saves into a chapter select for anything you skip or break. Second, never kill a non-hostile NPC or quest giver. Every companion questline trophy depends on its NPC staying alive; nothing else about them is time-sensitive once started.

The one true deadline is rescuing your family within 30 days for In the Nick of Time. After the endings, the game keeps running and all side content stays available.

Roadmap

Step 1 — Start on Duelist, finish the prologue

Duelist removes the directional attack indicator and hits hard, so it must be tackled from a fresh save — switching to Duelist late voids Uphill Battle, as does customizing any modifiers (auto-block, indicators and similar toggles flip the preset to "Custom"). During Withering Away, craft the medicine correctly: hot water and three spoonfuls of herbs, or Esme dies. Prologue side quests are safe to do and vanish afterward; none affect trophies.

Step 2 — Towers and open-world activities

After the open world unlocks, buy Shapeshift (Vampirism) and Mercurial Fervour (Witchcraft) for fast travel — there are no mounts, only the wolf form at night. At night, climb all 11 towers to unfog the map, then clear points of interest (monster lairs, persons in danger, bandit and soldier camps) to level up. Stick to the northern half of the map — red-skull areas in the south will delete an early Coen. Keep the clock under day 15 so the story has room; quicksave before every fight, since free-roam never autosaves.

Step 3 — Court activities and the three bosses

Complete roughly three quarters of the Court activities to max each vassal's anger, then defeat Ambrus (The Gilded Gauntlet), Bakir (The Lunar Game) and Xanthe (The Cycle of Love) — Ambrus first, Xanthe last, by level range. The story portion takes 7–10 days; aim for the ending around day 22. Choices inside the three boss questlines don't affect ending trophies. Ignore Together Forever for now — its fight is brutal on Duelist and much kinder on Story difficulty later.

Step 4 — Manual save, then The Turncoat on Duelist

At maximum infamy, skip to the next day for the edicts cutscene, and Brencis invites you to parley — the final quest A Deal with the Devil. Make a manual save here and never overwrite it. For the Duelist clear, take Brencis's deal and betray your allies: The Turncoat ending skips the final boss entirely, which is exactly what you want on the hardest setting.

Step 5 — Reload and clean up the endings

Reload the pre-final save, drop the difficulty to Story, and play the remaining endings from it: The Patricide (with Lacra), The Knyazmaker (with Crake) and The Folk Hero (solo). Lacra's and Crake's ending questlines require their earlier quests done first — see the companion section below.

Step 6 — Level 50 and the Ultimate Perks

The long tail: reach level 50, and stockpile skill points for the three Ultimate Perk trophies. Each tree's Ultimate Perk costs 39 points (35 spent on perks in that tree, plus 4 for the perk itself; Vampirism instead needs Corruption 15). The game hands out roughly 160–170 points in total — not enough to max everything — so bank points, save, buy the Swordmastery perk, reload, buy the Witchcraft perk. Manuals must be found before their perks can be purchased.

Story Trophies

Automatic on the way through the main plot — five of them cannot be missed.

TrophyRequirement
A Dawnwalker is BornComplete the prologue and enter the open world
Dead Man Talkin'Use Compel Soul for the first time — forced during Smoke and Ashes
The Right Fist of the KnyazDefeat Ambrus in The Gilded Gauntlet

The Dark MistressNeutralize Xanthe in The Cycle of Love — killing her or making a deal both count
The Blood of DawnwalkerFinish the story — any ending, including the two early endings
Every Last DropThe platinum: all other trophies collected

Ending Trophies

One save before the final quest covers all of these. The first four are the "full" endings — only a full ending on Duelist counts for Uphill Battle.

TrophyRequirement
The TurncoatAccept Brencis's deal and betray your allies — skips the final boss
The PatricideDefeat Brencis alongside Lacra
The KnyazmakerDefeat Brencis alongside Crake
The Folk HeroDefeat Brencis alone
In the Nick of TimeRescue the family within the 30-day limit — any full ending
A Hero They DeserveEarly ending: leave the valley through the broken bridge in Briar Sloughs at night (Planeshift up the canyon wall, then take the gate) — available any time after the prologue
Together ForeverEarly ending: the Home Sweet Home loop in Silts Tower — run the dream sequence and beat its boss 4 times, then stay with your family on the 5th cycle instead of inspecting the well
Uphill BattleAny full ending on Duelist difficulty, start to finish, with modifiers untouched

Companion Questline Trophies

All of these hinge on the quest giver surviving — none of them expire. Do them after the endings, from your clean-up save.

TrophyRequirement
Sins of the PastFinish Anca's line: Echoes of Silenced Bells → Between the Words → Where Old Devils Lie → Stronger Than Achilles
Misery Loves CompanyIn Lacra's line, complete the optional The Night of Horrors before Midnight Reckoning
The ManumitIn Crake's line, complete the optional Distant Shadows → A Closer Look before Rise at Dawn
The Unquenchable ThirstFinish Vicho's quests: A Study in Crimson → The Good Samaritan (available after a couple of days)
The OutcastComplete Ocha's The Heart Wants What It Wants — she sits in a Svartrau tavern; any outcome awards the trophy
The Tsarina's Favourite HumanComplete all five sanzhani quests: Good Home first, then Come Hither, Burrow Sorrows, Pearly and Precious, Tiny Dancer — the leader at Yawning Burrow refunds a full day of time

Combat and Ability Trophies

TrophyRequirement
Untouchable5 perfect blocks in a row — Story difficulty widens the window if you struggle
Better Safe than SorryBehead an enemy with Artery Strike while they're hexed by Burning Blood — buy Artery Strike manuals (two from Catalin's Tutor, one from Ocha) to raise the decapitation chance
Make It RainExplode an enemy with Blood Surge — the only active ability that does this; unlock it by drinking Xanthe's blood after her fight, or loot the Phial of Xanthe's Blood from the Svartrau treasury (key from the cathedral's storage room)
Absolutely InsatiableHave 3 passive abilities equipped — Shapeshift and Mercurial Fervour already fill two slots
Balanced DietDrink blood 10 times to heal — only counts below full health, night form only
Feral HungerLose control in dialogue and drain someone outside combat — drop to one vampire health segment or less, then repeatedly re-enter dialogue with a tavern innkeeper at night; the Closing Wounds perk works against this
MasteryMax out any single ability (the colored icons, not perks)

Progression Trophies

TrophyRequirement
Master of ArmsBuy an Ultimate Perk in Swordmastery — 35 perk points in the tree + 4 for the perk; save-reload for the other trees
Arch WarlockBuy an Ultimate Perk in Witchcraft — same rules as above
Creature of the NightBuy an Ultimate Perk in Vampirism — no point threshold, just Corruption level 15; bite animals and enemies with Voracious Bite, even at full health
Glass CeilingReach level 50 — realistically your last trophy; go past the 30 days and clear the remaining content, since quests and Court activities beat random kills for XP

Equipment Trophies

TrophyRequirement
Arbiter's BladeRestore the Imbued Sword of St. Mihai: find the 3 blade shards (auto-starts Forge it Anew), take the hilt from the boss under Svartrau via Night Terrors, then have the Uriash blacksmith in northwest Briar Sloughs reforge it
Arbiter's RegaliaComplete A Bulwark Against Darkness (starts from a letter after Infamy 4): gather the Large Lizard Moult (cave between Briar Sloughs and Maragir Wealds), an Amulet Relic (Relic of St. Tyna in Anca's convent quest, or a guaranteed Relic of St. Dasius in Xanthe's Howling Keep), the Flask of Quicksilver (top of Silts Tower after Home Sweet Home) and Silk Threads (Sanzhani merchant, 6,500 coins, after Pearly and Precious)
Gear of the GodsFill all 8 equipment slots with legendary items at once — the St. Mihai sword and Arbiter armor from the two trophies above cover most of it; you add two rings and an amulet

World and Exploration Trophies

TrophyRequirement
Bird's-Eye ViewClimb all 11 towers — night and vampire form only
Capture the FlagTear down all 5 of Brencis's banners
Tour Guide TrainingVisit all 8 villages
Big-City LivingVisit Svartrau City
Delivery DelayDestroy 8 of the 10 vrakhiri transports roaming the roads — unmarked, so scout from towers
Shadow RoamerTravel 1,000 m via vampiric traversal — Shapeshift's wolf form covers it fastest
RealmwalkerEnter Anachora, the vrakhiri afterlife — drink a boss's blood after their fight, progress Lacra's ending line, or reach part 2 of the Brencis fight
Antique AficionadoDiscover any ancient ruins — the prologue quest Deep Down or Xanthe's excavation activities both work

Economy and Misc Trophies

TrophyRequirement
MiserHold 5,000 denarii at once — selling junk and old gear gets you there early if you hold off spending
SmugglerEarn 1,000 denarii from selling silver — the lone silver trader (Svartrau) needs Infamy 4+ and must be visited before Infamy 9 shuts the city gates
SelfishSell a fish to the fishmonger — she's the food vendor in Svartrau's market by day; buy a dried fish from her and sell it straight back
Throne of ThornsReach Infamy 9 — essentially automatic: the three boss kills alone max the meter
