Release & Editions
September 3 2026 launch, platforms, all editions from Standard to Collector's, pre-order bonus, performance modes and PC requirements.
The Blood of Dawnwalker launched on September 3, 2026 — the debut game from Rebel Wolves, a studio founded in 2022 by The Witcher 3's game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, published by Bandai Namco Entertainment and built on Unreal Engine 5. It is planned as the first chapter of a new saga.
Platforms & Availability
| Platform | Available |

A single-player, story-driven open-world RPG — no online requirements, no microtransactions announced at launch.
Editions
Three editions were available at launch:
| Edition | Price | Contents |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | $/€69.99 | Base game + the future story expansion |
| Eclipse | €79.99 | Base game + expansion + digital world compendium + digital comic book + digital soundtrack |
| Collector's | €199.99 | Base game + Eclipse Edition digital upgrade + Steelbook + world map (33×40 cm) + physical world compendium (60 pages) + Coen figurine by PureArts (23 cm) + collector box |
The pre-order bonus was the Sangoran Wayfarer's Armor Set — and since it can also be obtained later in the game itself, late buyers miss nothing but the early edge.
Buying the Standard Edition after release means picking the expansion up separately; Eclipse and Collector's bundle it in.
Console Performance Modes
The console story had a twist: after the initial announcement capped Performance Mode at 40 FPS, player feedback pushed Rebel Wolves to finish testing a 60 FPS mode in time for the day-one patch:
| Console | Quality | Balanced | Performance |
|---|---|---|---|
| PS5 / PS5 Pro | 30 FPS | up to 40 FPS | targets 60 FPS |
| Xbox Series X | 30 FPS | up to 40 FPS | targets 60 FPS |
| Xbox Series S | — | — | targets 30 FPS |
The PS5 Pro adds overall visual enhancements, including dynamic 4K resolution.

What You're Buying Into
Vale Sangora, 1347. The Black Death sweeps Europe, and in that moment of weakness the vrakhiri — vampires — walk out of the shadows to claim what they have been denied for centuries. You play Coen: human by day, monster by night, with 30 in-game days to bring his family home from Knyaz Brencis's court.
The cast, the regions and the powers are introduced on the characters, map and abilities pages; if you're already playing, the updates page tracks the patches.
